The Connecticut Tragedy

The anti-gun lobby is going to be out in force over the Connecticut tragedy. Let's knock them over with some good old facts. 

Now, calm down, anti-firearms warriors. Connecticut actually has the some of the most regulated firearms laws in America. 

Assault weapons? Banned. 

The list of those banned from purchasing a firearm includes stalkers, anyone charged with assault, possession of narcotics, and anyone involved in a riot. 

Now ask yourself why the killer chose these particular victims. 

Ask yourself why so many of these tragedies occur at schools. 

Could it be that the sick, demented individuals who commit these atrocities know that the best victims are the ones who can't shoot back. 

When was there last a massacre at a shooting range, or an NRA meeting? 

Connecticut is a safe blue state. The voted Republican from Nixon to Bush Sr. But since then have been deep blue Democrats. 

These are the kind of voters who are more likely to want more regulation, even banning of firearms.
