1st Presidential Debate

A little thing I noticed early on: the number of times the President 'ummed' and 'ahhed.' Romney was confident, a true businessman with a business mind. Obama came across as a professional bureaucrat.

In typical Democrat fashion, the Presidents solution to create more jobs is to, eh, increase taxes.

Of course Obama didn't say these exact words; no, socialism is coded with certain 'phrases.'

He spoke about investing in education. Which is fine and good. But it doesn't guarantee immediate jobs. It's no use investing in the future if adults in the present can't find jobs.

Say the government invests in engineering courses at college. That's  all well and good for the future. But a better way to create engineering jobs would be by lowering the taxes on the people whose companies build the bridges.

Romney was straight to the point, well spoken, open. Obama was apologetic, timid, lost for words.

Romney 1; Obama 0.
